We Two The Chiseled Nameless City. a Corlson Remix

We Two The Chiseled Nameless City

A Remix of Vixen Phillips

Butterflies out of the code
cradled in the stone wings.
We are fractal lies, binary and circuitry
chiseled in the nameless city.
Night clears her throat to speak
in a parchment whisper.
Retreat from antique stones
blossomed pillar candles.
The wind outside, the chill within
our fingers slip through our disappointment.
Lamps stuck like eyes in every window
every threshold year spirals down to one.
I can't remember drifting really
on weary ghosty wisps

Only once stars harden, it's over, it's over, it's over…

Hunger

The hunger drives us all. That ache for nourishment the need to fill ourselves up. Not just food but knowledge, love, fun, ideas, music. Whatever it is we crave or love. The thing we must have or do or know. We hunger for it.
We are born with it and helps keep us alive, if we never hungered for food we would die of starvation. It helps drive our evolution, it is part of our survival instinct. Our hunger for understanding makes us invent tools and create great art, to journey both outwardly and inwardly seeking answers to questions that well up from inside of us.
From our being we sing to the universe and await its response, and it comes in waves of joy from its own beauty. As we tunnel out into the vastness that surrounds us we are witness to more and more of its grandness and it quietens the heart to think how slight and small this skin of life that coats the earth is in comparison to it.
Let the science of pure inquiry feed your hunger for knowledge.Don't let fixed ideas starve your brain to stupidity. Feed your body with real food and water, don't poison yourself with manufactured for profit pseudo-food. FIll your soul with music.
